Small Shoulder Bag

This small shoulder bag (6 by 8 inches) will be auctioned at the Circle of Art, 2009 fund-raiser for Food Gatherers. See "Circle of Art" link on the home page of this web log. The auction will take place on May 17, 2009.

The silk used in this piece was hand-painted with fine French dyes. Then, I embellished it further with decorative thread work and quilted texture.
